From the White House COVID-19 Task Force press briefing  

  • 15 days ago, “Slow the Spread Guidelines” were issued by the Task Force.
  • The next three weeks are going to be very, very bad.
  • Treasury Department and SBA today announced more information on the “Paycheck Protection Program.”
  • $350 billion in loans are now available through lending partners, loans forgiven for those who keep their workers, applications will be accepted starting April 3, 2020.
  • FEMA is sending medical equipment and supplies to all 50 states.
  • Feds are holding back 10,000 ventilators for parts of the country where the apex will hit.
  • USNS Mercy is now operational in LA and receiving patients.
  • New Orleans Convention Center will be operational this week.
  • Giving hospitals flexibility to use surgical care centers for care of non-COVID patients.
  • 25,000 Americans have been repatriated since January 29, 2020.
  • We must continue mitigation for the next 30 days.
